Default Massage

I am 18 days post op from my BA and I asked my PS about massaging, but he said that it is not needed. Did your PS tell you to massage? Why do you massage?

Hi,

My doctor didn't recommend it either, he said that there isn't any scientific eviidence it prevents CC, however, being two weeks po I can tell you it does make your aches and pains feel much better. If it can't do any harm, why not do it?

Cheers!

My PS said no need to massage either, according to him CC is going to develop whether you massage or not, so why put yourself through the pain of massage? He also said I could massage If I wanted to as it wouldn't have any negative effects.

I didn't get any massage instructions from my doctor. I went on YouTube and did a search on breast implant massages.

The massage that I got from my PS is to squeeze the bottom of my boob 10 times on each side to get the implant to raise up and down to help it drop into the pocket better.

I am now 12 days post op and went to my PS on day 7. He told me to start the massaging 2x a day. Pretty much using the compression and diplacement, but just pushing the implant up.

I'm about 8 weeks out and today my PS told me to move them up and down, hold for 10 seconds each time. Push them towards the middle.
