The most effective medications for preventing hair loss are Rogaine and Propecia.
Rogaine contain the main active ingredient, which is Minoxidil. It can be used by both women and men and is available for purchase at pharmacies. The preparations come in the form of a solution or foam and are applied to the scalp.
Propecia is a drug taken in tablet form and require a doctor’s prescription. The active ingredient is finasteride, inhibits the creation of DHT in the scalp so it does not affect the hair follicle function.
